Jenny Saddler BVSc MRCVS
Jenny has a keen interest in small animal surgery and orthopaedics. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding.

Charlotte Denston BVetMed PgC SAM MRCVS
Charlotte has been working in mixed practice since qualifying in 2007. She has a particular interest in small animal internal medicine, and achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2021. Charlotte and her family live on site at Coomara, along with her three dogs, Woody, Greta and Nile. Woody is an active member of our team, working as a doggie ambassador in our school visits, and as a blood donor.

Harrison Thomson BVSc PGCertImag MRCVS
Harry graduated from Massey University vet school in New Zealand in 2016, and has been with us ever since. At the end of 2022 Harry passed a Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging through the University of Chester. Harry enjoys walking and running, has an interest in history, and is pretty good at baking!

Sam Christie BVMedSci BVM BVS MRCVS
Originally from Suffolk, Sam graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2021. He enjoys a wide range of sports including rugby, as well as being a great artist.

Hannah Gallagher BVSc MRCVS
Hannah is originally from Derbyshire, and graduated from Liverpool Vet School in 2021. She enjoys hiking, rugby and martial arts.

Sarah Lewin BVetMed Cert E.P. MRCVS
Sarah has been at Coomara since 2015, and works part time on Wednesday and Thursdays. She has a particular interest in Equine work, and holds an RCVS certificate in Equine Practice.
Our Nurses

Alicia Martin RVN,
Senior Veterinary Nurse
Ali joined us in November 2017 having moved up country from Bedfordshire. She shares her home with many pets including cats, a tortoise, turtles and gerbils. Alongside her photographer partner, Pete, she loves hill walking, and she is an absolute authority on all things "Harry Potter"! Ali achieved a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma with merit in April 2021.

William Jackson RVN
Will qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014, and has been at Coomara since March 2022.

Laura Simmonds RVN
Laura has been with Coomara since 2017, initially as a trainee and now a fully fledged Registered Veterinary Nurse, qualifying in 2022. Laura loves all aspects of nursing, but especially holding nurse clinics and supporting clients with all aspects of pet care.

Emma Rowan SVN
Emma joined our team in March 2022, and started her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in September. Emma has already achieved a BTEC Diploma in Animal Care and loves helping out at her grandparents’ sheep farm.

Charlotte Coles SVN
Charlotte joined us in March 2022 and started her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in September. She originally started her working life in human care. Charlotte enjoys yoga and walking her 4 dogs, Agnes, Betty, Paggah and Jessie.

Ali joined Coomara’s reception and administration team in 2019. Ali has 2 dogs and a tortoise at home. Ali likes reading, puzzles, and crafting.
